Coaching Courses
Manawatu Cricket provides a range of Coaching Courses throughout the year. It is encouraged for people taking cricket teams to have the relevant qualification pertaining to the level of cricket that they are coaching through New Zealand Cricket. Fortunately this process is easy to work through and assistance from the MCA is always provided.
We understand and appreciate the commitment required to take a cricket team and we thank you for that. Upcoming Courses;
NZC Advanced Development Course.
Hosted by Manawatū Cricket in conjunction with NZC. Saturday 19th Otcober. The course will take up the majority of the day.
The course is targeted at Year 7&8 hardball and secondary level coaches and is the course prior to the old NZC Level 1 course.

New Zealand Cricket has a clear Coach Pathway which is aligned to the Player Pathway. We advise that coaches should only complete the coaching qualification that is matched to the level of cricketers they are coaching.
