Manawatū Cricket provides a range of Off Season Development Programmes (OSDP) that are availabe to all who want to improve their game in the lead up to the upcoming season.

Subway Sunday Sessions
Manawatū Cricket is pleased to introduce the first of our Subway Sunday Sessions for the 2024 winter. Our Sunday Sessions provide opportuities for players to be coached in the off season by quality coaches or players from around our region. Headling our first session is Manawatū current international and first class cricketer, Dane Cleaver. Dane will be in town for a double header weekend on the 3rd & 4th August for batting and keeping sessions.
Spaces are limited for each session so make sure you register quick to secure your place for this exciting opportuity. More details about the further sessions will be shared soon so watch this space!
Saturday 3rd August
Batting basics
Primary Boys (Y4-6) - 9 - 10am $35. Covers front foot and back foot shots and how to apply them in game situations
Intermediate Boys (Y7&8) - 10.15 - 11.15am $35. Covers front foot and back foot shots and how to apply them in game situations
Primary & Intermediate Girls (Y4-8) - 11.30am - 12.30pm $35. Covers front foot and back foot shots and how to apply them in game situations
Secondary Boys (Y9-13) - 2.45 - 4.15pm $60. Covers straight drive, flick off pads, sweep & using feet to spin
Secondary Girls (Y9-13) - 1 - 2.30pm $60. Covers straight drive, flick off pads, sweep & using feet to spin
Sunday 4th August
Wicket Keeping Basics - 12 - 12.45pm $35. For new or beginner keepers
Wicket Keeping Intermediate - 1 - 1.45pm $35. For existing keepers with over one season experience
